Way back in the day, I had one episode of the podcast, and I want to say that I published it sometime in 2017, and it just lived there randomly. Then some time went on and I was like, you know what? This is something that I should do because I really like to talk. I like to share with other teachers, I like to write… but I really do a lot better just chatting, because like I said, I like to talk. So I decided to relaunch The Anacrusic Podcast. I published three episodes on March 10th of 2018 to really set the intention for what I wanted this podcast and Anacrusic to be. 

If I think about how much has changed in the last two and a half years, it’s bananas. There is so much that has come out of this podcast for me personally, for me professionally, and as I connect with all of you in the analgesic community, I know that there is tons that you’ve gotten out of these conversations with other music educators, with the free trainings that I’ve been able to give you through this podcast. It has been nothing but a complete light in my life.

And so much of that, if not all of that, has to do with all of you and the fact that we have this community where we can come together and I am given the great opportunity to be in your earbuds or in your car with you, or wherever you might be listening to share some thoughts and some inspiration about your teacher musician life.

And so to that end, I wanted to take today’s 100th episode, you know, give or take a couple of bonus episodes here or there, but this 100th episode to really reflect back on past episodes and some of the meaningful themes that I’ve been thinking about throughout these past two and a half years. And so I’m going to give you just a little taste of some of my favorite moments throughout the history of The Anacrusic Podcast.

I hope that all of this brings you just a little bit of inspiration as you go throughout your day and throughout your week. And as you get psyched for all of the things that are coming to this podcast and to all things, Anacrusic very, very soon, because we may have already none 100 episodes, but y’all, this is literally just the beginning.
