Today on the podcast I’m talking with Nancy Killoran all about her first year of teacher and the impact it had on her vocal health. Nancy shares her difficult experience and offers tips to music teachers about how to nourish (and legit SAVE!) your instrument that you use each and every day for every part of your teaching.

Hey, I’m Nancy B Killoran. I’m from Milton, MA, but have lived in the DFW area since moving to TX in 2012. I studied Choral Music Education and Music Theory with a minor in French at the University of North Texas. I am about to begin my third year at Slaughter Elementary School in McKinney ISD. I have experience in both the choral, band, and elementary worlds and I try to incorporate elements from my family’s musical background into my classroom!
